It's funny because just this weekend as we left church, I mentioned to Tommy how blessed our church was by having so many strong marriages as part of our MLC family. NOT PERFECT. BUT STRONG. Serving the Lord as long as I have, you notice strong marriages aren't the norm in church families. But I'm so sure we have this blessing because of the marriage our Pastors enjoy and fight for every day. They're such an example for realness, and overcoming obstacles, and sticking together no matter what, because they know their marriage is bigger than the two of them. Happy Anniversary to you two and I applaud all the marriages at MLC that are keeping it together!
You both are just too cute, enjoyed listening to your little conversation. Jeff and I are so blessed to have you both as our Pastors. Your marriage has and will continue to be a great example to us. Jeff and I are actually your first marriage ceremony at Metro Life 11 years ago, but we didn't go through any marriage courses:) and Pastor Mary you sang "There You Are" for us on that day, it was so beautiful. So many people don't realize the importance of being part of a church and having the spiritual covering over their lives. We are so grateful for all the times you both have been there for us and for all that we have learned spiritually through the years, looking forward the years to come. Love you both very much, Jeff and Gloria
Silver has long been valued as a precious metal. It is used as an asset to make special things, for example: in jewelry so we can look charming, in silverware so we can dine in style, in coins so we can establish wealth, in conductors so we can lead, in catalysis so we can increase, in disinfectants so we can destroy diseases and in antibiotics so we can combat bacteria. It takes 25 years of marriage to be able to reach the beauty of “SILVER”, may the highest electrical conductivity of any element and the highest thermal conductivity of any metal stay with you forever. Happy anniversary Pastors John and Mary :-)
